Board president/CEO

Board Member Since 2012

Bruce joined the I2C / Diversified Board in 2012 and currently serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and President.  Bruce has been at Diversified for over 25 years holding various sales, marketing, and leadership roles.

Bruce career included joining Light Tech Limited in 1984 as a Philadelphia-based representative with their construction sales team. He then became a partner in the firm in 1989 and remained so until joining Diversified in 1996.

Bruce was appointed President and CEO in 2015. Since then, the company’s sales have doubled due to organic growth in the core business and the acquisitions of Marty Berman Associates, Essential Lighting, Ron Fogel and Associates and most recently Liberty Lighting in 2021.

Bruce is best known for his ability to set a bold vision and lead his team to success that exceeds the industry, consistently delivering above-average growth and profit. He is a consummate deal maker, and well regarded as a transparent and honest broker. Bruce prides himself on always being accessible and responsive to his team and his customers.

Bruce enjoys a great passion for music, fitness, family, and friends.

Ken-Damato

Kenneth Damato

Chief Operating Officer

Ken joined the I2C Board in 2017 and currently serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this role, Ken was Managing Director of Intrepid Capital Partners where he worked in the Asia and Middle East Regions on M&A opportunities and other strategic projects. Before then, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Tyden Group responsible for all Commercial and Operational functions at Tyden’s two portfolio companies, Telesis Technologies, and TydenBrammall Security Seals.

In addition, Ken held executive roles at American Standard Companies (Business Leader of the America’s Bath and Kitchen business and before that VP of Global Business Development at their Trane Commercial Air Conditioning Business.) His prior roles were at GE where he ascended from C&I sales to the role of VP & GM of Marketing for the America’s C&I and Consumer Lighting Business. Ken also worked at Schering Corporation and IBM earlier in his career.

Ken founded the DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation in 2012 and serves as the Board Chair. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Marketing and Business Administration and a minor in Finance from Northeastern University.

Ken’s enjoys spending time with his wife, children, family and good friends.

Michael-Mullin

Michael Mullin

Executive VP/General Manager

Board Member Since 2019

Mike joined the I2C / Diversified Board in 2019 and currently serves as the company’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. Mike has been at Diversified for 20 years with the majority of his time in projects and operations leadership roles. 

Mike’s 40 year lighting career allows him a unique perspective having served all market channels within the lighting industry.  His early beginnings and success stories included roles within lighting showrooms, distribution, national accounts, OEM and as a lighting rep which all led him full circle to Diversified.  Mike’s legacy will be of loyalty, encouraging change, open minded outlook, positive attitude and elevating individual skills into the overall company goals.  He is the “go-to” person for customers and peers for both ideas and solutions. 

Mike’s focus outside of work is his 3 children and 7 grandchildren. 

Mary-Beth-Gray

Mary Beth Gray

Board Member Since 2015

Mary Beth joined the I2C Board in 2015.  Mary Beth is a managing partner of Kleinbard LLC, a Philadelphia-based law firm, and a partner in the Business and Finance Department.  She practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (representing sellers and buyers), corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, and executive compensation. Her practice has a special focus on business succession, including the sale of businesses to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and other transactions involving ESOPs. 

Mary Beth has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has represented buyers and sellers in more than 300 transactions involving both equity and assets.  She has also represented companies and owners in many different industries and at many different stages of growth. She has advised both start-up companies and mature companies engaging in a variety of transactions. In her ESOP work, Mary Beth has represented companies, sellers, and ESOP trustees in all facets of ESOP creation and maintenance, including plan design, corporate governance, fiduciary matters, equity ownership, compensation issues, and tax matters.

Mary Beth has an undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard University and her law degree from Boston University.

Mary Beth lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two sons.

Don Block

Board Member Since 2021

Don joined the I2C / Diversified Board in September 2021. Having served in senior executive roles for two prominent electrical distributors, he has a deep knowledge of P&L management, sales, operations, finance, and M&A.  Don can take a vision and transform it into sound strategy management. He is an inspirational leader whose decision making is grounded in factual data.

Prior to retirement Don served as President Eastern USA for Sonepar Group, the world’s largest global distributor of electrical products and services with operations in 45 countries. Previously, he served as President NorthEast Electrical (subsidiary of Sonepar), and District Vice President Graybar New England.   Don currently serves as an independent consultant to various entities involved in the electrical distribution, manufacturing, manufacturer’s representatives, and construction industries.   

Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Quinnipiac University School of Business and received an International Leadership Certificate from Insead Business School.

He is married to his wife Janice and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
